What is ExoLactate®?

ExoLactate® is an exogenous lactate formulation designed to provide lactate directly to the body's metabolic systems. Lactate is a molecule naturally produced by humans and plays a central role in energy metabolism, exercise performance, recovery and cellular communication.

ExoLactate® is built upon decades of scientific research by researchers such as George Brooks. Studies 1,2,3 demonstrate that lactate is not a waste product, but rather one of the body's most important energy substrates.1,2

Is ExoLactate® suitable for all sports?

ExoLactate® has been developed to support athletes participating in endurance, intermittent and high-intensity sports where efficient energy delivery and performance maintenance are critical. It can be incorporated into a broader race or training nutrition strategy according to the specific demands of the sport and athlete. Exolactate® will benefit both low intensity exercise and hard explosive efforts.

What happens after consuming ExoLactate®?

Following ingestion2,4:

Is ExoLactate® considered doping?

No. ExoLactate® does not contain any substances prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and is designed to support athletic performance through nutritional strategies rather than pharmacological intervention. ExoLactate® delivers carbohydrates and exogenous lactate as nutritional ingredients intended to support energy availability during exercise. 
ExoLactate® is a sports nutrition product, not a medical product. As with any nutrition product used in elite sport, athletes are encouraged to follow their organisation's supplementation policies and consult qualified professionals if they have specific anti-doping questions.
